In September of 2020, the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics should have ended without incident and things should have returned to normal. Because of Covid-19 our sense of normal "everyday life" has changed.

We go to work and school. We have dinner with friends and colleagues. We return home for summer vacation and welcome "Obon"(Buddhist festival). We have experienced the reality of how fragile this "everyday life" has become.

We have no idea at this point how the new coronavirus will continue to affect us in April 2021 as vaccines are being rapidly developed all over the world. In the past and around the world, there have been pandemics and epidemics, but human beings have overcome them. This time we are again confident that we can overcome these difficulties. With this belief in mind we have decided to hold La Festa Primavera 2021.

All of the older cars participating in La Festa Primavera can be said to have been difficult and challenging to drive. It is after overcoming these difficulties, that we can find the joy and pleasure of driving them.

This is an adventurous journey where such vehicles gather to visit the famous and historic sites of the Tokai and Kinki regions, filled with the scent of spring. A new culture, new people, and a return to "everyday life” are awaiting.
